Corporeal awareness arises from the integration of exteroceptive signals from outside the body (e.g. vision, audition) and interoceptive signals from inside the body (e.g. heartbeat, respiration, gastric). We will explore whether individual differences in exteroceptive and interoceptive awareness predict participants’ moral behaviour in the ‘Temptation to Lie Card Game’ (TLCG), where participants are tempted to lie while risking (or not) their reputation.
